It was the first FF on the Super Famicom, and was remade as FFII for the SNES everywhere else. It's all pretty, and stuff.

You play as Cecil, a Dark Knight who's emo since he kills people for his king (which he doesn't want to). Then he becomes a White Knight. Or something. Then I guess you kill his buddy, Kain.
